This film has a powerful purpose: to promote greater visibility for Asian communities, especially at a time when this is crucial. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, there has been a surge in anti-Asian bias globally, yet many of their stories remain underrepresented.
 




 
Our project was selected for an official pitch session at Rio2C, Latin America's largest film and entertainment market. This recognition resulted in the documentary being featured in the prestigious Variety magazine, as highlighted below.
 







The concept creates a striking contrast between the refined artistry of the chef’s work and the raw, gritty atmosphere of the neighborhood.



A Grammy Award-winning artist composed the original score, adding a powerful layer of emotion and artistry to the story.



 
Many people are unaware that Brazil is home to the largest Japanese community outside Japan, with nearly 1 million Japanese descendants living in São Paulo alone. After Tokyo, São Paulo has the highest Japanese population in the world. This rich cultural presence deserves to be acknowledged, appreciated and celebrated on screen.

Is my donation tax deductible?
Depends on a few factors like if you received a reward in exchange for the donation and the value of your donation above that rewards cost, etc. You may contact the nonprofit you donated to directly to receive information on whether or not your donation is tax deductible. Nonetheless, the emailed receipts you will receive for your donation is the documentation you need to make it tax deductible.

How do I know that my donation was made successfully?
